Meet Colette Rosati

Colette Rosati bought her first home in Denver at age 21 while working as a Nurse from 3-11 PM and the occasional 16 hour midnight shift. In 6 months she made $6,000 after selling the house to the first person who looked at it and has been hooked on real estate ever since.

Born in Michigan, she moved to Arizona more than 20 years ago after meeting and marrying her husband. The Rosatis have two young adult college age children who have been looking at real estate since they were in a car seat! Colette advocates buying a home for your college student and charging rent to the roommates.

She has a B.A. in Health Services Administration and a Master's in Business Administration. She obtained her AZ real estate license 20 years ago and also now is a Real Estate Broker.

Colette likes doing research and the exhilaration of bidding on homes at auction. She finds that buying a home at auction has its risks but sometimes one can get a great deal.

Lately, she has been dealing with an army of contractors who have cleaned, repaired, and replaced missing and broken items from homes she has bought at auction.

Colette can send you a list of homes up for auction and will help you buy one. She advocates paying cash but if you have to borrow money she recommends that you refinance as soon after you close as possible.

Colette has bought and sold properties in Flagstaff where she is especially fond of the second-home communities with golf courses. She is thrilled to find buyers homes out of the summer heat for 40-60% less than they sold for only a few years ago.

She also is knowledgeable about the real estate market in the neighborhoods near the University of Arizona in Tucson.

Colette and her family have vounteered for a number of local charities including the Canine Companions For Independence, Arizona School Choice Trust, and the Crisis Pregnancy Center. In addition, they have gone on medical missions to Mexico (twice) and the Ukraine.
