The Rosatis Need Small Toys For A Medical Mission to Mexico

February 22, 2011

This March my two college-age children and I are going on our third medical mission. This time we are going to the Yucat√°n Peninsula to help care for some of the poorest people in Mexico.

We will be seeing patients and helping with surgery that has a dermatology focus (I am a RN as well as a real estate broker).

On the previous two trips, we brought small stuffed animals and other toys with us and handed them out to small children. They were a big hit. Beanie Babies were especially popular. They were given to young patients or to the patient's children in the middle of the long work days.

We would like to do it again but we have given all my children's old toys away already. You can help by donating your old suitcases or small toys.Call me as soon as possible if you'd like to help. The deadline is March 9.

We never have enough toys to hand out.

Thank you.

After Tax Day Party To Raise Money For Recently Widowed Women In Mexico

April 10, 2011

After Tax Day Fundraising Party Saturday April 16, 5 - 7 pm

New home in PV & meet the neighbors

My college children & I just returned from a medical mission to Mayan villages near Valladolid, MX. We met 4 women who became widows the day after we arrived. We want to buy them chickens & goats. In addition, we met a kindergarten age girl who needs a shoe with a 4" lift. Times are tough here for many, but not that tough! So let's have fun and be generous together. : )

$10.00 per person suggested donation to benefit IMA-missions.org.

Bring a dish, wine or dessert to share!

I'll provide the beverages and paper goods.
